This looks like the place I want to be. Some forums sound like the group is speaking a different language, but this one sounds friendly.
I plan to post quite a bit so get used to my handle. I'm writing a novel at the moment so I'll probably bombard you with lots of questions and ask you to read over bits and pieces for feedback.

A customer from work used to call me Monster, then my co-workers found out and they started, so the name just stuck. That's okay, it could've been worst.
Hi Red Crayon,
I wrote this novel years back, which found its back to the bottom of my desk drawer. I kept thinking I should do something with it, and recently pulled it out with the plan to send it off to a publisher, but after I started to read it again I realised I had made some serious point of view mistakes. So now I'm going through it again and putting it into the right point of view; however, this changes some of my ideas so I guess to answer your question as to how far I'm into it - pretty much at the start again. I've rewrote the first three chapters and I hope to get the fourth done this weekend.
Guess what? It's a homicide detective working on his next case, but stumbles onto the source and reason surrounding the murder of his parents.
What about you guys, any of you working on something at the moment?
